Jobs rarely run exactly as first scoped. Amendments are the variations and alterations to a job - the changes that may affect its costs or its scope of works. The section keeps them all in one place so everyone can see what has changed and why. You will find it in a job's navigation menu.
Each amendment is listed with any reference numbers attached to it, when it was raised, and how far along it is. Select a column heading to sort the list, and use the search box to filter it down when there are many.
Viewing an Amendment
Select any amendment to expand it and see the full detail: its priority, its type (for example a charge-up or a quoted variation), the dates it covers, any references, its progress, who is involved, and a description of what is changing.
If a job has no amendments, the section will simply tell you there are none to show - which is usually a good sign that the work is tracking to its original scope.
